Dr. SAMUEL kIM

Dr. Samuel Kim is originally from Daegu, South Korea, and moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue his education. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his DDS degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2014.

After dental school, Dr. Kim gained experience caring for patients in Milwaukee and in communities across Iowa, including Cedar Falls and Lake City. Over the years, he has enjoyed building lasting relationships with patients and caring for individuals and families through every stage of life.

Dr. Kim became the owner of Nakoma Dental in 2026, continuing the practice’s tradition of serving the Madison community since 1963. He is committed to staying current with the latest advances in dentistry so he can provide the highest quality care for his patients. His advanced training includes Invisalign®, implant dentistry, and early orthodontic treatment for children. He continues to expand his clinical training to bring the latest techniques and technology to his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, home improvement projects, fishing and staying active through racquet sports.
