Dr. SAMUEL kIM

Dr. Samuel Kim is originally from Daegu, South Korea, and moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue his education. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his DDS degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2014.

Dr. Kim became the owner of Nakoma Dental in 2026, continuing the practice’s tradition of serving the Madison community since 1963. He is committed to staying current with the latest advances in dentistry so he can provide the highest quality care for his patients. His advanced training includes Invisalign®, implant dentistry, and early orthodontic treatment for children. He continues to expand his clinical training to bring the latest techniques and technology to his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, home improvement projects, fishing and staying active through racquet sports.

Dr. Donald Tipple

For more than 35 years, Dr. Donald Tipple has provided compassionate, personalized dental care to the Madison community. Throughout his career, he has built lasting relationships with generations of patients and their families through his gentle approach, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

In 2026, Dr. Tipple passed the leadership of Nakoma Dental to Dr. Samuel Kim and continues to practice alongside him. Together, they remain committed to providing the personalized, high-quality care that patients have trusted for decades while carrying the practice’s legacy into the future.

Outside the office, Dr. Tipple enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching college basketball.
